UFC Heavyweight Top 5 GOAT Rankings

Post The end of 2022 - No stats from 2023 were taken into consideration yet.

1. Junior Dos Santos

The underappreciated Junior Dos Santos is the greatest heavyweight of all time. A lot of people may disagree because he held the title for a short period of time but he's been ranked in the top five since 2009. He also should have gotten a title shot before both Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez, having been ranked higher than both of them at the time of their title shots and even their title reigns. To top it off, he has wins over two of the other four heavyweights on the goat list.

2. Stipe Miocic

Miocic is thought to be the greatest heavyweight of all time already by many fans, pundits and by the UFC itself. He has the record for the most consecutive heavyweight title defenses and he's done this in such a short span of time, having only been ranked since 2016.

 3. Randy Couture
Couture might be the most inspiration inclusion on this list. Having won the heavyweight title on three separate occasions dating back to 1997. His first run could have lasted even longer had he not gone to Japan. When he returned from Japan, he reclaimed the title he never lost and in 2007 he'd come out of retirement to reclaim it yet again. Legend.
4. Cain Velasquez
Velasquez's reign from 2010 to 2015 was one to behold and it could have gone even longer if only he could've stayed healthy. He was the only one who could beat Junior Dos Santos in a time when he looked invincible. He had cardio for days and the will of steel, unlike any other heavyweight.
5. Francis Ngannou
Ngannou did not appear in the top five until 2017 and he's already on the goat list. Having beaten Stipe Miocic, who is thought to be the greatest heavyweight of all time and never losing the heavyweight title in the octagon places him at number five.
