Post UFC 219: Cyborg vs. Holm

1. Stipe Miocic

Miocic would only defend and avenge his loss to Dos Santos in impressive fashion this year, where he then spent the rest of the year holding out for better pay, and with Ngannou looming, there is some doubt whether he is still the best in the world or not.

2. Francis Ngannou

Ngannou made a statement right away knocking out former ranked contender Andrei Arlovski and then Overeem to become the scariest title challenger for Miocic next year.

3. Alistair Overeem

With two wins in the books over Mark Hunt and Werdum, Overeem placed himself one win away from a title shot,  but Ngannou’s power proved too much for him in their title eliminator.

4. Fabricio Werdum

Werdum probably should have gone 3-0 this year, but a split decision was rewarded to Overeem, which set back his goal of regaining the heavyweight title.

5. Junior Dos Santos

Last year’s performance earned him a title shot against the champ but this time Miocic got the win. That’s the only time we see him in the octagon. It seems like as good as he looks, he's lost the ability to take damage like he used to.
