Post UFC 45: Revolution 

1. Tim Sylvia 





Sylvia earns the number one sport this year. Remaining undefeated beating Rodriguez for the heavyweight title and successfully defended it against then, number one contender, McGee.

2. Gan McGee     




After amassing a 12-1 record only losing to ex-champion Barnett, who left the UFC, McGee earned his title shot with a win over Dantas, but he was overwhelmed by Sylvia in their title fight. 


3. Andrei Arlovski    


After suffering knockout losses the previous two years, Arlovski wins by a knockout of own over Matyushenko, making it two straight knockout wins in a row for him.

4. Vladimir Matyushenko  




Matyushenko moves up to heavyweight, going 2-0 at first, which included a win over Rizzo but would then lose to a peaking Arlovski later that year.  

5. Pedro Rizzo      





It looked to be all done for Rizzo when he lost to former light heavyweight Matyushenko, but his win over Rodriguez kept him relevant in 2003.
